Sisters of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary (SSHJM) have been providing essential development and humanitarian support to the poor, marginalised and vulnerable for 150 years.
Increased equity of access to education and increased quality of education and learning outcomes for 2,246 learners, 1,084 being children and youth with
disabilities, and 60% being girls and women.

people have benefitted from SSHJM’s inclusive health and disability support contributing significantly towards healthy lives, well-being, and improved health outcomes.
4,491 individuals with increased and improved livelihood opportunities and food and nutrition security.
65% of those supported and empowered under the SSHJM sustainable livelihoods programme were women.
215 households have access to renewable or more sustainable energy and technologies that help with adaptation.
SSHJM has informed and supported 9,745 rights holders with improved awareness of a specific right or entitlement.
